Wyatt - Edward

The funeral services of Edward Wyatt, on Friday, were conducted at the Russellville Christian Church by Rev. W. D. Headrick of Indianapolis, a former pastor of the deceased. The K. P. Lodge attended in a body. F. N. Johnson and Frank Milligan attended from Waveland. Mrs. Wyatt thinks that her husband contemplated making away with himself on the preceding Sunday night, as he tried to get all of the family to go to Church and leave him at home. In doing the deed he placed a ladder near the hay fork tract, made a loop in the trip rope, and probably jumped off the ladder. The body was hanging quite a distance from the floor.- kbz
